Biomechanical Engineering Expert
This position includes investigating, evaluating, and reproducing accidents, which may cause bodily injury, to determine whether the subject incident involves the injury mechanism(s) to cause such injury(ies).

Responsibilities:
• Conduct field investigations and inspections to gather and analyze motor vehicle, slip/trip & fall, motorcycle, bicyclists, and pedestrian accidents
• Perform detailed review and summary of case-related materials which include photographs, physical evidence, deposition testimony, medical records, and other relative documents
• Calculate change in velocity or acceleration of the vehicles during a crash event while calculating the amount of force experienced by the occupants
• Determine the Principal Direction of Force (PDOF) and analyze the occupant kinematics in a motor vehicle accident
• Prepare reports of scientific findings and conclusions which can be explained and understood by the average lay person and presented at depositions and trials
• Conduct educational presentations to existing and prospective clients, at conferences and trade shows **
Requirements:
• Ph.D., in Biomedical or Biomechanical Engineering
• Demonstrated track record of performing biomechanical related research including peer-reviewed publications
• Must possess solid verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

Human Factors Specialist
This position involves the study and scientific application of principles and data of human interactions with products within their environment and processes to optimize well-being and overall system performance.

Responsibilities:
• Collect data through direct observation of work activities
• Conduct inspections, interviews and surveys of users and customers to collect information on topics of job requirements, needs, fatigue and ergonomics
• Assess individual factors including cognition, attention, perception, memory and decision-making to process and react to information.
• Analyze collected data to proffer recommendations and incorporate processes and improvements
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree, (Ph.D. a plus) in Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience, Industrial or Systems Engineering & Kinesiology
• Must possess solid verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working in consumer and industrial products, sports and fitness, automotive, pharmaceutical, construction and medical device industries
• Ability to travel and conduct field investigation

Accident Reconstructionist
Through applying proper engineering principles to reconstruct vehicle accidents by the process of investigating, analyzing, and drawing conclusions about the causes and events during a vehicle collision to determine factors which may have contributed to the accident and who the responsible parties are.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct field investigations of accident scene and vehicle inspections
• Properly conduct witness canvass and interview authorities involved in the investigation of vehicle crashes, motorcycle accidents and pedestrian incidents
• Use of the state-of-the-art technology to collect data and evidence from investigations and inspections
• Prepare reports of findings and conclusions which can be explained and understood by the average lay person and presented at depositions and trials
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering
• PE License and ACTAR Certification
• Previous Accident Reconstruction or Forensic Engineering preferred
• Willingness to utilize and learn computer simulation programs
• Ability to travel to undertake proper investigations
• Retired Law Enforcement experience involving Accident Reconstruction will be considered

Forensic Scientist/Engineer
This position involves performing biomechanical analyses of accidents in support of testifying engineers and experts.

• Research, collect, review, and summarize relevant technical literature
• Perform biomechanical calculations
• Communicate findings in oral and written presentation to internal team members
• Effectively support testifying engineers with courtroom testimony
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s. degree in Mechanical and/or Biomechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university (Master’s degree preferred)
• Willingness to utilize and learn computer simulation programs
